Making Tax Digital
The world of tax is an ever-shifting landscape. Not only are processes constantly being updated and refined, but tax thresholds are constantly under review by the Government.
That’s why it pays to have an accounting team that stays ahead of the curve. We keep you in the loop with all of the latest developments in the industry.
We aim to get our clients up to speed with the changes rolling out as part of Making Tax Digital (MTD). Now that it has become a legal requirement for people to organise and file their VAT returns digitally, it’s become even more important to understand how MTD affects your tax filings.
Soon, MTD will expand to income tax self-assessment, with the official rollout set for April 2026. In the meantime, a pilot scheme has been launched, which self-employed taxpayers can sign up for now.
Corporation taxpayers will also fall into the scope of MTD once the MTD for corporation tax scheme has been launched, which the Government is planning to start as early as April 2026.
There’s no time like the present to get ahead of the changes before they happen, and with us by your side, everything will go as smoothly as possible.
